Our concrete sawing techniques are used to cut horizontal flat concrete surfaces such as floors, bridge decks and pavement. Our concrete saws feature a diamond blade that is mounted on a walk-behind machine that requires only one operator.
Concrete sawing is the perfect solution for making penetrations or opening in concrete floors to access and repair a broken water pipe or sewer line. Concrete sawing is also useful in demolition work to break up and remove a cracked or unwanted patio, driveway or footpath.

- Floor And Road Sawing – the most commonly used diamond cutting method. It is typically used to cut horizontal flat surfaces such as floors, bridge decks and pavement. Both asphalt & concrete can be cut using this method. Our Floor and Road Sawing equipment is outfitted with a catalectic converter, which reduces carbon monoxide levels by up to 95% and is idea for indoor works and confined work areas. Our road saws range from 16HP to 65HP and enable us to cut up to 600mm deep.
- Wall And Track Sawing – there are two preferred methods of wall sawing, including a hand held system and a track mounted system. Hand held or track mounted methods depend upon each individual job for the right method to choose. Points to consider are operator safety, thickness of material to be cut, reinforcing content in wall, site access, time and cost. We have three of these powerful hydrostress machines and the largest can be cut to a depth of 1000mm from one side.
- Plunge Sawing/Diamond Chainsaws – is used for effective cutting of concrete, reinforced concrete, conduit, brick and other masonry. Plunge cutting and square corner cutting is not a problem. We use hydrostress plunge saw and ICS Diamond Chainsaw for penetrations, which require no over cutting.
- Wire Sawing – is a technique that has proven to be an ideal choice for removal of thick sections of concrete. A multi-strand cable with diamond segments is threaded through a series of pulleys and is continuously pulled through the concrete. Since virtually no concrete structure or cross-section is too large to cut, wire saws are used where other cutting methods are impractical. We have two of these hydrostress machines, producing minimal noise transference and no vibration.
- Hand Sawing – is ideal for jobs such as cutting relatively thin concrete floors, brick, block and concrete walls. All our hand saws are partner petrol powered that will cut to a depth of 150mm. We also have a number of partner hydraulic ringsaws, a unique tool, which will cut to a depth of 260mm, quickly and without fumes.

Diacore Pty Ltd uses various types of equipment for low noise, vibration-free demolition, without risk to surrounding structures. Hydraulic splitters are safe to use and have 350 tonnes of splitting pressure per head. Using multiple heads will create large splitting pressures. Used in conjunction with saw cutting, the Saw and Split technique can quickly remove large areas of mass concrete, such as found in dam structures.
Hydraulic crushers are the ideal method for taking dismantling stairs and walls up to 300mm thick, which is more efficient, quieter and dust-free compared to conventional jack hammers.
Diacore Pty Ltd can also provide an environmental slurry control until with all sawing and drilling work in situations where there is a danger of slurry seeping into storm water drains. Wet vacuums are carried in each vehicle for smaller job slurry control.
